Too be honest, I really had fun with this. It's different from the usual stories, more actionladen. More like a hollywood movie.
The voicecast ist good to solid and the effects and music are fun. The bestial voices of the kristang fit.
The different voices lend the story an additional layer as now you can have a much clearer picture of characters now.
I do not concur with my fellow critics. I liked this.
If you are into audioplays this is definitly one of the
better ones.

The idea to put soundseffects in and make the story more lively is nice, but sadly it was executed badly here.
The only voice actors that sounded good were the ones of Bishop and Smithe. The rest was okay, but not super duper great. Mostly they managed to make the story strange or unbelievable, by laughing half heardedly at the wrong moments for example.
Often the listener does not exactly know what happened, this is probably an writing issue. Like when something crashes, instead of someone screaming "Oh shit it is coming down!" or "Brace yourselfs!" or "Edge, edge EDGE EDGE!!! Oh shit..." and then the crunsh of the impact, we only hear a cacophony of crunching noises and don't know what just happened, or what the situation is.
And when that beercan just once agains plays me Opera music, I swear I throw it out an airlock...

The story was good and generally well written, with the typical flaws, that the listener is used to already, so all in all, you can hear it, but it is not a masterpiece, nor super terrible.

Hat wahnsinnig drive, darf man nicht verpassen. Ich ärgere mich, dass mir Homefront nicht zwischen renegades und armageddon empfohlen wurde, audible halt.
