This book provides knowledge and tools to be able to look to God as THE HOLY ONE, for both old and young Christians!
I loved the calmness of the narration, the phenomenal topic and execution of said topic, as well as the parables used, like a stomach that is filled up with bread will look to other foods without confusing the feeling of want with need.

My biggest takeaway from my first read-through is this: my goal in life is no longer to be a good and kind person; it's no longer to raise kind children or to do good to others. No, those goals are too superficial, too inexact. My goal in life is to recognize, live, breathe, and reflect God's infinite holiness. To trust God in each action and to allow his holiness to motivate my behavior and transform my nature.

I'm wrecked by this book. Simultaneously overwhelmed with fear, repentance, and the urgent need to honor God, but also with the supernatural and unbelievable loving kindness of God, the unequivocal wholly Good and Just that he is--I'm compelled to trust him with my everything.
