Somebody else mentioned in a review that the male narrator's performance of the female MC is bad. I agree but take it one step further: it's atrocious! He makes the FMC sound like he's mocking her.

In addition, his performance of the MMC is also way too gravelly. He sounds like the villain of a bad Western, not a 30-something entrepreneur from San Fran. Yes, the MMC is severely traumatized but c'mon!

Anyway, the story starts out promisingly, the female narrrator is excellent - if you can get past the male narrator, you might enjoy the audiobook!
