Loneliness, motherhood and hardship

This is a beautiful story of being a woman of her own in a tough world, tender, resilient, unbreakable, heart broken and finally mended, of a mother who faced very tough choices, their consequences and not only survived, but along the way, always did the right thing.

I really enjoyed this audiobook. Perhaps the only remark I would have was the very very serious voice of the reader. All in all, I think it matched the sombre atmosphere of the book, yet, it came over a bit "artificial" to me. Anyway, this is a book & audiobook I'd recommend anytime.
