I highly recommend this to everyone. It helped me to better understand the world and myself and I feel happier as a person - and understand why. In short: this book teaches you to become a giver while not being taken (too much) advantage of. Be a giver, not a door mat ;)

I love this (audio) book

Ich weiß es noch nicht genau, aber ich glaube dieses Buch hat mein Leben verändert. Es zeigt eine Sicht auf die Welt die Hoffnung gibt und dazu inspiriert mitzuhelfen sie zu einem besseren Ort zu machen.
Ich habe gerade ein etwas frustrierendes Teamprojekt hinter mir, das nicht so gelaufen ist wie ich gehofft hatte. Dieses Buch zeigt mir Möglichkeiten es in Zukunft besser zu machen. Genau wie vieles andere. Es hilft mir die Welt besser zu verstehen. Als einen Ort an dem jeder von uns einen Unterschied machen kann.

Ich hoffe das hier hilft irgendjemandem XD

The author explains in a clear way, that you can be the most successful when giving more to others. By giving, you foster cooperation and, thus, instead of taking as much from the pie as possible you actually increase the size of the pie so that everybody can benefit from what you do. The tricky part is, that you should also look for yourself to make shure you do not get exploitet.

A more even keel read would have made for a more engaging book. At times reader could make topics come across in a condescending tone, which really goes against the whole premise of the book.

As a giver, I truly enjoyed listening to this captivating book, and I truly wish there were more givers in the world! The book offers excellent examples, a fantastic narrator, and uplifting content. I highly recommend it!
