Über diesen Titel
Carlisle Cops: Book Four
Fisher Moreland has been cast out of his family because they can no longer deal with his issues. Fisher is bipolar and living day to day, trying to manage his condition, but he hasn't always had much control over his life and has self-medicated with whatever he could find.
JD Burnside has been cut off from his family because of a scandal back home. He moved to Carlisle, but brought his Southern charm and warmth along with him. When he sees Fisher on a park bench on a winter's night, he invites Fisher to join him and his friends for a late-night meal.
At first Fisher doesn't know what to make of JD, but he slowly comes out of his shell. And when Fisher's job is threatened because of a fire, JD's support and care is more than Fisher ever thought he could expect. But when people from Fisher's past turn up in town at the center of a resurgent drug epidemic, Fisher knows they could very well sabotage his budding relationship with JD.

Review on „Fire and Snow (Carlisle Cops Book 04)
Was hat Ihnen am allerbesten an Fire and Snow gefallen?
The latest addition to the Carlisle PD is southern transplant JD, who is struggeling with his first winter season in central Pennsylvania. Red/Terry, Carter/Donald and the others take the young man into their group offering friendship and support on the job. They make it easier for JD building up a new life after his old relationship went terribly wrong and his homophobic mother had only accusations instead of understanding for him. But it wouldn't be a true Andrew Grey story, if he didn't give this sad situation a special twist.
Was mochten Sie an der Handlung am liebsten?
On a patrol night JD meets Fisher sitting alone on a bench in the Court House Square. Fisher's family and relationship story are tragic and sad, mirrowing JD's in many ways. After a car accident Fisher is suffering from brain injury and a bipolar condition both his family and ey- boyfriend couldn't cope with. The loneliness is more obvious to see in Fisher than in JD. Both men are drawn to each other and it is heartwarming to follwo them and their growing together. Somehow Fisher is terrorized by the latest drug thugs and JD 's protectiveness kicks into overdrive.
Welche Szene hat Ihnen am besten gefallen?
I love the scene when little Alex (now 5 years old) decides that Uncle Jeffy needs a picture from him to cheer him up.
Was wäre für andere Hörer sonst noch hilfreich zu wissen, um das Hörbuch richtig einschätzen zu können?
Randy Fuller has narrated another masterpiece with soft-spoken Fisher and his psychical disposition and mood swings. JD is as impressivly portrayed as a strong, level-headed police officer, a hurt and pushed away son and a gentle understanding lover to Fisher. What a fabulous addition to the already brilliant series. Please, Mr.Grey & Mr.Fuller, hurry up, I am impatiently waiting for more!
