Über diesen Titel

These recordings are from a rare and inspiring five day retreat held in 1982. On these recordings, we hear the wonderful Stephen Levine interacting with Ram Dass and speaking on his own. These two masterful teachers explore a deeply personal and inspirational topic. With meditations, questions and answers, and brilliant lecture, this program will transform your view of life and also of death.

These lectures are really awesome in themselves, and if the publisher makes the following changes, I'll gladly up my overall rating to five stars. But until now no-one at Brilliance Audio bothered to edit these beautiful recordings in any way, and the only reason I can think of is negligence, plain and simple. The biggest downside is that the listener is often left confused as to who's speaking, or whether a new talk has suddenly begun :(

1. Dale Borglum gives about a third of the talks, yet his name isn't mentioned either on the cover, in the product description or the chapter titles (there are no descriptive chapter titles currently). It took me quite some time to catch his first name in one of the lectures, and when the Dying Center was mentioned, I was finally able to google who this guy Dale could be who works at the Dying Center. You should put his name on the cover, instead of saying "& friends".
2. All three speakers have a similar voice, so it would be a great help to give the speaker(s)' name(s) (and the topic(s) of the given chapter) in each chapter title, for instance: chapter 7: Dale on compassion in a social context; chapter 8: Stephen on pain and softening.
3. Playing a chime or a few seconds of music would be great to indicate that one speaker has finished speaking and a new guy will speak next - this is true both for the end of each chapter and sometimes in the middle, when the speaker changes.
4. Chapter 7 contains Dale's talk, and then, five minutes before the end of the chapter, Stephen's talk begins - why on Earth couldn't you end the chapter where Dale finishes and start chapter 8 with Stephen's talk, especially given that all of ch8 is taken up by Stephen's talk?
5. Please up the volume by 30-50% for the whole audiobook - in a moderately noisy street I can barely catch what they're saying.
6. Chapter 7 has about half a dozen unexpected "skips" where a few seconds are missing. Please try to recover the full recording from the master tapes if possible.

Excellent material but VERY, VERY poorly presented
