When the Earth roars, the heavens will be shaken.

It's like gta character, murders everyone he sees and then acts completely different in a cutscene. Here it's the same "I'll do anything to save them" and next moment he is planning on how to kill random people. Mc is definitely some kind of a psychopath.
Edit, no, seems more like a sadist. He's there just to torture people. The guy who died. His friends came by. Is he allowed to scratch a message in the floor? No. Is he allowed to team up with his old team? No. He is commanded to go and observe, look at his friends but don't meet them. Look at them suffer, but don't interfere. Look as I try to murder your friends, the friends you died to save. Yeah, Mc is 100% a sadist.
