Warning Cliffhanger

Good story and as before an excellent narrator the only downside for me was the way it ended. The only place I could stomach cliffhangers in where weekly TV shows.

Other reviews already show part of the downfall of the story, but so have to disagree as well. Have been listening to the books in the background, and the small events, as well as the big ones always fit well with the MC. In general, the split personality of the MC and his cores is pretty bland, but that’s expected of someone not very strong in the grand scheme of the universe, and he’ll only get stronger anyway. Hope that the series continues, and doesn’t get bland!

Good, but odd narration

So weird a narrator doesn't look up how to pronounce existing names likes Smaug. It is really distracting he keeps calling him smog.

Einfach nur geil!

Immer noch grandios, genau wie die ersten Teile! Kann nur jedem litrpg Fan empfehlen diese Reihe zu hören.

Good story with wasted potential

I like the books so far and will read or listen to the next part as well. However, imo the author puts too much emphasis on senseless killings of not thousands but hundreds of thousands of beasts without developing the story. The second half of the book is better in that regard but the story finishes at a very inopportune moment. It feels - not for the first time - like the author has written one book and decided later to make two books out of it. I find this really annoying. Also, there is a great risk of making the main charakter too powerfull. I get the idea of him being powerful, but how can he get stronger in the next books, when he - still at the lowest power level - already 'distorts the air' with his aura or kills enemies that start earthquakes with a powerful punch? I really hope the author gets a handle on this because the entire world has a lot of potential!

Why did I stay around for four books?

Did not finish book four. Stopped about an hour before finishing it.

The main character remains lost somewhere between being incredibly bland on unlikable. Quite a few supporting characters are more interesting than the MC because they actually have character.

The MC seems to have the story happening to him without any agency. Most of the time he get his ass saved by plot armour. However / luckily / despite are authors favourite tools to progress the story or the MC.
Every time the MC acts alone, the story takes a nosedive, the supporting cast carries this.

Reading the reviews for book 5 this gets even worse.
Stuck with the series cause I hoped it would get better after book 1, lived in that illusion for 2 more books.
