Über diesen Titel
A suicidal mission. An impossible hunt for the enemy. A company of elite soldiers willing to risk it all.
Captain Aravon has accepted one final challenge: cross an entire continent to kill Tyr Farbjodr, the commander of the Eirdkilrs. His mission leads through enemy territory, across the towering Sawtooth Mountains, and into the harsh tundra of the icy Wasteland in search of his target.
Hunted by savage foes, with only his small band of soldiers for support, it’s a race against time to put an end to the Eirdkilrs’ leader before he unleashes a devastating new attack that would destroy everything he’s fought and bled to protect.
With everything on the line, can Aravon and his Silent Champions withstand the full might of their cunning enemy to save their kingdom one last time...even if they have to sacrifice their lives to succeed?
Courage to Sacrifice is the fourth book in the epic Silent Champions military fantasy series. If you like heart-pounding battles, clever strategies, and emotional stakes that will tear at your heart and soul, then you’ll love Andy Peloquin’s warfare masterpiece.

Fantastic, action filled finale
Keeper's Teeth! I'm a total wreck. Honestly, I can't recall when I last cried so much reading a book. Ugly crying the last 20 or so chapters... I'm just glad my dog was the only being seeing me like this.
Here are two of the quotes that made me weep. The readers who have read the book, will know what I'm talking about.
"You ARE a Grim Reaver"
"It's faith and action that makes a thing holy"
Last time I got so invested in a story and the characters was when I first read Of War and Ruin (Book 3 in The Bound and the Broken series by Ryan Cahill).
Here it was similar... in the first der books you get to know the characters. You start to feel for them and with them - then all hell breaks loose and suddenly you forget that they are not real.
Belthar, the gentle giant, had me cry happy tears with his Goodie Day.
Zaharis, the Secret Keeper, will always have a special place in my heart for what he did in this book and the ones before.
The Seiomenn, Stonekeeper, is one of my favorite healers I've ever read about.
Skathi, the archer, is what I call a strong female character and I'm glad I got to read about her and the way she evolved so much in this motley crew.
Noll, the scout, who loves his family and has amazingly funny lines and can hold his liquor.
Colborn, the half-Fehlan Lieutenant, one of the best second in command characters I ever read about.
And my newest book boyfriend, Captain Aravon and his little Enfield Snarl.
Read this series, I dare you!
