Fascinating stories but very bad french

The mixture of old French and a non native French speaker really hurts when it comes to the French reading of the quatrains.
I am French and I know that the old French sounds different than today. But for this audio book it is really sad not to have chosen a native speaker. Concedering that this French quatrains are the heart of this book. May be the French readers where to expensive for this production, I don't know.
Beside this painful episodes the storie is worth it to listen. Maybe sing very loud when it comes to the French reading could help to survive this pain.
