One of the best

Personal, intriguing and with a colourful brushstrokes of Yorkshire patina, this crime novel doesn't need brutality or any kind of gore. It features real protagonists with personal identities, political perspectives which connect and contradict their narratives and a strong and sensible lead, who gets the job done. Great book.
