Helena Marchmont is a pseudonym of Olga Wojtas, who was born and brought up in Edinburgh. She was encouraged to write by an inspirational English teacher, Iona M. Cameron. Olga won a Scottish Book Trust New Writers Award in 2015 and recently published her second book in the Miss Blaine mystery series.
Nathaniel Parker, born in 1962, graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and went on to join the Royal Shakespeare Company. His television career began in 1988 when he played Flying Officer 'Flash' Gordon in the LWT mini-series Piece of Cake. He is also the lead in the BBC series The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, based on the novels by Elizabeth George. Nathaniel Parker has an extensive list of audio books to his credit, ranging from the classics of Charles Dickens and Thomas Hardy to more modern writings and children's books.

Vorhersehbar vergnüglich
Ich mag diese Provinzgeschichten. Klar, es sind keine aufregenden Plots, die Personen reagieren vorhersehbar und - ja - klischeehaft. Aber es macht mir Spaß zuzuhören. Es geht mir ähnlich wie Dorothy vom Post- Office: ich hab einfach mein Vergnügen!

Fantastic!
I really love the entire series, enough mystery but nothing gruesome that it would give you nightmares. Read by an incredible voice!

tolle Stimme!
Nathaniel Parker hat eine wirklich sehr tolle Stimme! Die Geschichten erinnern, wie angegeben, an Agatha Christie. Zwar verstehe ich nicht jedes Wort, aber ich kann den Geschichten problemlos folgen. Hat Suchtfaktor...

Nathaniel Parker is amazing + very nice characters
i have to admit, I've listened to the whole Bunberry series now several times, because it's fun and comforting to listen to. Nice observations of people, bring it feminist, show offs, insecurities or whatever. My only complaint are the many many repetitions from book to book. i understand that it is for readèrs who havent listened to the previous books, but while an idea might be funny, when you here it the first time, it's rather annoying when you have it explained to you eleven times. So I strongly wish, that this will change in the next books, or we are someday at 50 % flashbacks and repetitions.
Nathaniel Parker is adorable. i love, how he speaks Marge, Debbie and Sasha.. and Liz.. and well, almost everybody. I listened to other books read by him and he is always good, but here he is at his best.
