Broken Souls and Bones introduces us to a fresh world steeped in Nordic flavors without requiring chapters of backstory and explanations to enjoy. The magic system is unique and not over done, the characters loveable and detestable in turn. I think the best thing was how realistic they were.
if you are looking for a romantasy that is plot driven and built off of genuine relationships and interactions between characters, I highly recommend you check out this series.
