This one was the first without the second epilogue, and a very short first one. It was nonetheless beautiful, and I did enjoy this storyline just as mu ch as the others. It was slightly different in that it was less adventurous and more descriptive as the others, which fit the characters very well! Love the series.

No idea how the author thought this love interest would be received, but he is in no way likeable. Rude, downright mean, and abusive. The attempts to humanize him and make us fall in love with him fell flat. Only good thing about the story was Eloise & the kids, and the world building.

Ein neues Männerproblem...wie erwartet. Aber der alleinerziehende Vater ist mal was Neues!
Es hat wirklich Spaß gemacht, der Geschichte von Philipp und Eloise zu lauschen!

Not my favorite Bridgerton book so far, but it is well read. I liked the less than perfect children of Sir Phillip, which add extra interest to the story. Reading between the lines Sir Phillip's character, however, is not really as great as he is portrayed.
