I watched Christian on a TED talk and was riveted by his story. Unfortunately, the audible book is excruciatingly slow and duster. Frankly, he should have let someone else do the narration. I couldn't get over that it was the same person from the TED talk... The language is intelligent, the actual story is moving, but I cannot seem to finish it because the speaker loses my attention span, and I feel like I'm covered in a dark cloud when he is talking.
I'm not completely giving up on it, being that this theme is just so important in wanting to understand one of the biggest social problems in America society today, particularly now where divisiveness and hatred are in the forefront of politics, but it will require some time and mental preparedness before I can continue it.
It will be interesting in reading if others feel the same.
