meh.

MC starts out strong and gets stronger fast without really trying ... all girls basically line up to get a turn. The references to cultivation seem very half-hearted, there are skills but the system is far from feasible and feels more like "let's add that to get in on the trend" :-/
World-building fails completely, and for the most part the world outside the view of the main character doesn't seem to exist. Starts weak and gets worse down the line to the point being downright boring.
The speakers are good, but they can't save the weak material.
At least you can get the whole series for a single credit ...

The beginning was good but ...

First of all, the voice actors are really good.
The beginning was also pretty good, the first two books were quite well written and the world building was solid.
After that it goes downhill.
The story felt really rushed at in the third and especially the fourth book. Lots of jumps in skills and some things just weren't explained properly. Some skills he learned haven't even been used at all or just once and then were never seen again.
Then there was this really weird plot twist of needing the "chosen" children which didn't really do much in the final fight except fending of some minions.
His brother also didn't serve a good purpose in the story. He comes to him and wants some money for his business, then gets kidnaped and in the end he becomes a dhampir and everything is A-Ok?

Aside from the story the last two books contain several sentences that are being read two times.
Also when the author tries to describe something he often repeats himself.
For example, he used "deep inside of her" in nearly all of the more ... adult moments of the book.

Well i listened to the whole thing but to be honest i should've stopped after the second book and i would be content. Now I'm kinda frustrated at the wasted potential.

A Drag

I started out alright, nothing realy new or especially good even, but solid.
The first thing that bothered me was the voice of the voice actress, to me it sounded kinda sinthetic, at least with some of her characters.
And then there were more glaring issues that have nothing to do with personal preference:
- Lines read out of order
- Lines read by the wrong character
- Lines read twice in a row
All issues that could and should have bind avoided during editing.
Also the characters behaved way more impulsive than was necesery,even for a story like this.
(Groping the male character the moment they met was a bit unreasonable).
That said I did enjoy the first about 10 hours and and kept on listening bit by bit, but it only got more and more boring.
I enjoyed that one time in the third quarter, the voice-actress sung a little Song tho, that was quite soothing.
