After many many many avoidances...they talk
The quality continues in the sequel to Divine Blood. I loved seeing how the individual characters interacted and grew throughout the book and how realistic the relationships were. Where not everybody is perfect and they don't immediately click.
I think it's totally okay to be annoyed by the fact that Casiel and Dinalia (or however you spell those) avoid talking about the bond because that's what humans do - they avoid topics which make them uncomfortable or that are out of their control. I even understand Lucinda's choices even if she rubs me the wrong way at various turns. I don't expect people who have relied on only themselves for so long to just simply give up all their defenses at the drop of the hat.
I don't disagree that there were a lot of twists and turns but there was also a pleasant lack of Deus Ex Machina that I appreciated. I do look forward to listening to the next book!

zu viel Drama
Die Story grundsätzlich ist gut, aber zu sehr in die Länge gezogen mit den diversen Unsicherheiten der MCs. Das wird vor allem zum Ende hin sehr zäh. Zu viel Drama und keine Erfolge und das nächste Buch soll 30h so weiter gehen... ist mir zuviel. Ich werde den nächsten Teil nicht hören.

Nice story but awful romance
Story is nice but Dyna and the relationship to Cassiel is so annoying that I couldn’t finish the book
