Am relevantesten
I liked almost all of this series. Especially important to me was the missing drama between the companions. I think it's about the last 10 book series I tried where the authors added backstabbing and betrayal, often out of character, in what to me appears to be an effort to just add drama.

Sometimes the pacing felt a bit slow compared to other books. The MC never gets so strong that he is the best, which is a small let-down for me but is alright. They defeat two stronger opponents multiple times using the same 'trick'.

I didn't like so much that even at the end the MC sees himself as farm boy even when leading thousands of men. This view is repeated again and again.

It has enough action and a good story though. The narrartion is top notch imho. I also really liked the end. All in all I enoyed the series very much and am grateful to the author :)
