I assume the book is only half as fun without Eddie reading it and without the extra footnotes but i’m certain it is still brilliant. thank you!

Eddie Izzard erzählt uns gewohnt unterhaltsam und ansprechend einige Kapitel aus seinem ungewöhnlichen Leben. Mitreißend, zum Lachen, zum Weinen, zum Lernen. Er vermittelt viel Lebensweisheit in seinem typischen Smalltalk und kommt dabei wie so oft vom Hölzchen aufs Stöckchen und hangelt von Fußnote zu Fußnote. Sehr persöhnlich, sehr nahegehend, sehr positiv.

I listened while running and doing housework and on the train travelling to and from work. I smiled and giggled and felt at home in his voice and story. I real pleasure to hear is his original playful way. I felt live, authentic, vulnerable and was very interesting.

E. Izzard is still one of my favourite entertainers. This audiobook is mostly good to follow for non native speakers, German in this case. Interesting stories read in Eddie‘s genuine style BUT flooded with footnotes. Tons of it 8-( Overall worth to be bought...
