As of now I do not trust the Author anymore to bring this to a satisfying resolution. This series banks not on the usual quality of the autor or the great voiceactors but on a sunken cost fallacy of buying the third book because you're already two books in.
If my prediction is correct I'll get back to my other review of the first part and put a disclaimer there.
I already have every effing streaming service teasing me with going nowhere series to end in a forever limbo. If a satisfying part of your story can't be told in one books, write a bigger book or at least warn me off before cheating me out of my money and more expensive, my time.
