Über diesen Titel
Is there a God? Is there life after death? Why do bad things happen to good people? How can I know? My adult daughter asked me to tell her what I believed and why. This became a book writing project. I am a retired professional teacher, school counselor, and family therapist. I studied to be a priest for three years, living in a seminary and monastery. I am married and a father of two young adults. My academic background is psychology, theology, philosophy, education. In the process of helping my students and clients in their search for truth, I also had to dig deeper to find truth for myself. Our common questions were:
- Is there a God?
- Is there an after-life?
- How does it all work?
I found my answers by becoming a student of quantum physics and string theory. By putting science and theology together, we arrive at answers that work. Science and theology are not in conflict with each other. They build on each other. They intersect in a way that they give us more detail than if they stood alone. In this book I teach how to parent our children through these important life questions. In a simple approach I teach quantum physics and string theory as they apply to God questions. Learn about local vs non-local, where David Boehm says, "This is like trying to understand the physics of God."
Learn about energy and laws of thermodynamics, conservation of energy, Planck's Net, the creation, how God thinks our existence into being, form requires an intelligent observer, the spooky action of waves to particles, two-dimensional becoming three-dimensional, existence is forever, what is heaven. Einstein said, "God did not leave the development of nature to a roll of the dice. There is a plan." Is Divine Inspiration evolving? Have we been limited by the kind of questions we ask? Theoretical physicist Werner Heisenberg said: "First gulp of the glass of natural sciences will turn you into an atheist, but at the bottom of the glass, God is waiting for you."
