I was so bored

I liked "Kit & Elisabeth", I loved "the Duke meets his match", but here I was utterpy bored.
The main characters are likeable. I just felt no spark what so ever.
I had to force myself to finish the audiobook over the past months. Always stopping after half an hour or so because I was just not interested. I felt no chemistry and the story itself had nothing to catch my interest besides the couple
