Unglaublich gut!

I regret I have but five stars to give for this audiobook.
The performance by John Le Carré himself is ingenious, the story is gripping and the language used by Le Carré full of British humour

Brilliant story and performance
Read the book in a day and a half. Great story, one of le Carré's best. And can I give 6 stars for the performance?

Embarassing
this le Carré is such pathetic collection of clichés, his recycled tricks (colloquial fragments open for guesswork, but now insultingly banal) and wobbly plot that it was truly, at moments, embarassing to listen to. what is even more pathetic is that the author is reading his work - obviously convinced in its value. the only good thing is his fine diction and voice.
if the reason of existence of this poor work is a placement of couple of trump and england disparging phrases, perhaps the author would have done better to, well, write a letter to Times, like in good old days.
