Decent story idea, fantastic narrator. But the endless accounts of random flashbacks to the entire school years if (mostly) mean kids being (mostly) nasty to each other to show how they’re growing into (mostly) mean adults, culminating in murder doesn’t hold much entertainment value for me. Others obviously feel otherwise. Didn’t like it when I first read it years ago. Thought I’d probably been unfair and gave it another go. Still hated every minute of the childhood flashbacks…
