That’s how I felt about Milos. He was from Europe, a doctor, wealthy, athletic. He had an accent and a dog. Milos was textbook marriage material. For him it was “love at first sight”, but for me, it was “anxiety on every date”. Something was telling me to run - but for two years, the only running I did was straight into his arms.

If only I would have listened. This isn’t a love story. It’s my story of survival.

An unbelievable story of a wunderful person. I see Brittani in a whole new light now, even after watching her for years and years on YouTube.
Listened to the book in just one day and I‘m still thinking about it the next day nonstop. Wow.

Even though the story is sad and so unbelievable, I am glad that Brittani's family is now happy and safe. Very well written and recorded!

I couldn’t leave the book until I knew how it ended! This is a crazy “love” story! Omg, the poor woman! How is it possible that such people exist?! It’s a brilliant plot for a movie.. but I wish no one to go through something remotely similar. Resect for the author! A brilliantly written book and a brilliant woman. Way to go, girl!!
