Incredible
The book gives a deep insight into various perspectives of this topic. The story is beautifully written. The characters have real depth and the reader can easily identify or sympathize with each of them. Nothing is ever black and white.

Ein erneutes Meisterwerk einer unglaublich mutigen Frau bzw. einer Autorin, welche es immer wieder schafft mich zu erstaunen.
Ich habe den größten Respekt vor dieser Autorin. Ich finde es bemerkenswert und vor allem mutig wie sie es immer wieder schafft mehrere Perspektiven eines vermeintlichen “tabu” Themas in ihren Geschichten zu präsentieren, aufgrund ihrer hervorragenden Vorarbeit.
Vielen Dank an Jodi für eine erneute Glanzleistung.

A typical Picoult - great, surprising, brutally ho
This book was another typical Picoult which is meant very positively. Smart, critical, honest and surprising, she did it again. The characters trapped in the hostage situation are all explored deeply and their motives become clearer as the story unfolds.
What makes this book special is that it's told backwards, starting with the results and slowly telling the protagonists' background stories backwards from the point where they meet to the very beginning, revealing secrets on the way. I loved every minute of it.

Einfach langweilig
Es geht Picoult im Grunde nur darum, das Thema Abtreibung von allen Seiten zu beleuchten. Ich bin auch nach drei Stunden nicht in die Geschichte hinein gekommen - dann habe ich aufgegeben! Ich habe einige Ihrer Bücher verschlungen, aber dieses hat mich enttäuscht!
