A moment passed

An enchanting story with powerful descriptions of North Yorkshire and the characters of Osgodby . We get a sense of the time post WW1 and the devastation caused by it on the survivors . The story captures life in a small rural community its constraints and expectations, its interactions and secret hopes.
Alex Jennings gave a superb rendition switching effortlessly from the North Yorkshire dialect to the king’s English bringing this community vibrantly alive and giving each character his/ her own cadence.
