Brilliant story - very sad epilog

I truly love Elizabeth Edmondsons complicated stories (it always took me a while to get into the plot, maybe because I am not a native speaker) and her very good characters (I could really imagine them well, and become to like some of them fondly). It is the third and final book of this series, because as we find out from her son after the story, sadly she passed away and he finished this story for her. I think he did a great job. Thank you! I feel very sorry for the family for their loss. And it makes me sad too, that some brilliant stories die with her. Another writer that I have become to cherish is gone and I hope there will be new writers that can fill her / their shoes (if only partly would be enough). Thank you dearly.
