Magic in the blood. Danger in the streets.

Lord Crane has never had a lover quite as elusive as Stephen Day. He knows Stephen's job as justiciar requires secrecy, but the magician is doing his disappearing act more than seems reasonable - especially since Crane will soon return to his home in China. Stephen has problems of his own. Wonderful as always

Oh, nachdem ich ja so mit Band eins gestruggelt habe, hat Band zwei mich komplett abgeholt! Wahrscheinlich, weil die Dynamik zwischen Crane und Stephen einfach schon gefestigter war. Ich weiß nicht, ich mag dieses ganze Kennenlernen eigentlich ultra gern, aber bei Crane und Stephen bin ich damit nicht warmgeworden.

Die Geschichte an sich war wieder sehr amüsant und ich habe all die Nebencharaktere sehr gemocht und K.J. Charles Schreibstil ist mal wieder wunderschön.

Stephen und Crane sind mir richtig ans Herz gewachsen, ich LIEBE ihre Dynamik so sehr.


Mehr kann ich nicht schreiben, es ist einfach zu warm und ich kann nicht denken. Verdammter Sommer.

Habe das erste Hörbuch gekauft und nach dem hören sofort das 2 und 3 haben müssen. Ich musste wissen wie es weitergeht! Spannend und spaßig ... Genau mein Ding. Danke dafür!

A truly dreamy story wrapped up in a trilogy that you can hardly interrupt and put away...... also because the narrator's voice completely captivates you. Incredibly pleasant, velvety voice! In addition, the ability to speak so many different voices and dialects fluently that you can immediately tell who the person is talking about! Therefore preferably 6 stars to Cornell Collins ******
