Über diesen Titel
The Sisters Fen, Mary and Rose, live alone in their family's old estate, Small Stone. They have a meager income that comes from royalties on their father's films. After three attempts, their father succeeds in killing himself, leaving the girls to fend off the outside world alone. Their gardener, Charles, leaves them to go hunt crocodiles down south. And the youngest sister, Rose, is crippled with anxiety after several incidents with the locals.
When their house catches on fire after an unfortunate gardening accident, it’s up to the older sister, Mary, to find the money to fix the burnt roof. Mary decides to revive their father’s pornography business. They have no money for actors, so the film stars her sister, Rose, and various household objects. But when the distribution company wants more variety, the girls resort to using bodies in the family crypt. Later, Rose abducts the mailman, who falls madly in love with her. The sisters finally start making money to fix their house.
When an old family friend and his group of followers need a place to stay, Mary invites them all to come help her make pornography films. This does not sit well with the townspeople and local parish, who storm the house and attempt to burn everyone inside. The Sisters Fen and their lovers barely escape with their lives, doomed to live a life on the road, never to return to their family home again.
