Über diesen Titel
I just wanted to keep the family farm going, till the land of my ancestors, and do right by my parents' memory.
And then the adventurers came. They said they were going to help clear out the "monsters" on my land, but instead, they slept in my bed, ate my food, and worst of all . . .
They broke my mother's prized pot.
Now, I'm going to take my farm back and protect what's mine, and there's only one way to do it.
I'm going to make my farm into the most dangerous dungeon in the land.
Contains mature themes.

I'm not really sure how to feel about it
Tbh, maybe I should have read the description with more attention.
This audiobook is a little slow. This is true for the story, but the speaker as well. Many of the pauses between sentences or different people speaking seem a bit long in my opinion, which makes this story feel even slower than it already is.
The story itself is cozy, it's slow but steady and the characters are all mostly likeable. The world/town-building is great, and I like the way they use the existing "powers and abilites" in creative ways to suit their needs (even if more than once I wondered how the hell noone else thought of these things. But I guess its just a crazy murderhobo world out there, so yeah, just roll with it). I even like the humor and jokes.
Tbh I think this is a good audiobook, but I guess I was kinda suprised by the... mature content.
The first time our MC sleeps with a "Monster Girl" was surprising but fine (because I didn't expect that kind of content), but it gets kinda weird the 2nd and 3rd time. Sex becomes somewhat of a focus in the story, since the author doesn't miss any chance to slip in some naughty remarks or occasional jokes in, by either our MC or his females in heat.
The descriptions of the act are also detailed, even though it turns unrealistic at some point (but I guess its because of magic?). Our MC is depicted as some kind of sex-god it seems, leaving his wife (and later multiple wives) behind as drooling messes, while he prepares for his morning farming duties...
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind some relationship developments between the characters, and I don't even mind harem, as long as it is done well, but as soon as he gained his first wife this story felt more like some kind of male power fantasy where every single "hot" female monster girl the MC encounters cannot wait to jump into the bed with him. Telling him all the time how amazing he is and she can't live without him anymore (and his lower part ofc). It just became too much.
He doesn't even know them for longer than half a day before they jump into bed and get wed (at least that). Tbf, I don't know if it's like that only in the first book and his harem stops growing from now on.
All in all I still think the story is good, especially if you're looking for something more spicy. Just be warned, because I guess I simply expected something else from this book.
