Not really good
Spoiler Alert
I thought, it might be difficult for me, because it seemed like there is a lot of non-consensual interaction. At the start, it was like that and I didn't like it.
However it quickly switched to "everyone falls for the opposite side" and it was kind of cute beside some very ridiculous scenes a.k.a. "Do you want me to hate you? Then I will hate you" and others.
lots of conversations are non-sense and things are randomly thrown in like very ridiculous. They often also lead to no outcome.
The Storyline is somewhat interesting though also annoying because there is so much unclear and unknown that the reader/listener just scratches their head like "What?"
Often there are words missing in the sentence or are swallowed from the readers. The readers are also not really good and it is highly irritating that it's a male reading when it's a male POV and a female when it's a female POV because the characters then also have at least two different voices in the story. There is no real consistency in who is sounding how. Well I might be spooled from the readers from Nalini Singhs Psy-Changeling Series and Rock Kiss and Hard Play Series. They mostly manage to give each character an unique voice with just one reader and over a long series too.
The whole Mafia thing is only touched but attempted to be "deep". The Ending is just ridiculous. Am not a professional when it comes to the Mafia, but I know the Italian Mafias are religious. However they also are criminals and I doubt they would give a thing about Stepsiblings hooking up with each other. That is, if she should get "sainted" because of what she did with her Stepbrothers.
The whole story has multiple errors in it like when she's like "What my dad is a drug dealer?" when way back in the story, it was already said that he is and she agreed. Also it seems like there are multiple Problems which you know nothing about. Or it's all because if her Dad which would be just ridiculous. I will not continue the next book. I gave this one back . I think it's the first Time I gave an audio Book back. Besides of the nonsense Story, the readers are annoying. Especially the female who has a very sharp S which she lengthens when it's at the end. The Male makes Tobias sound like a bratty teen or even Kid most of the time.
If you want to read a very good Mafia Based Series which is very well researched, you can read Kele Moons Untamed Hearts Series.
For real dark Scenes, go for Jessica Hall, especially Taste of Darkness. or for the Romance Queen. You'll get more for your Money there.

Nicht meins
Da ich das erst am Anfang des Buches gehört u nirgendwo anders gesehen habe schreibe ich das direkt an den Anfang. Das Buch beinhaltet: Dark Revers Harem, bully, violence, dark romance Elemente und Sex
Es geht schnell los und kaum in der Geschichte kommt auch schon ein rap* (wenn mich jemand gegen meinen Willen mit der Hand penetriert sehe ich das als rap*). Ansonsten ist Sex und die Erwähnung das sie Geschwister sind, auch wenn ihre Eltern heiraten als beide “Kinder” über 18 sind Teil der Hauptstory. Der kink ist hier sehr im Fokus, Recht häufig wird kleine Schwester, Bruder und wie verboten doch so eine Beziehung zwischen Stiefgeschwister ist, erwähnt.
Die Haupt Protagonistin bevorzugt auf jedenfalls einen Bruder. Wobei ich dazu sagen muss das sie glaub ich unter dem Stockholm Syndrom leidet. Wie kann man den beim zweiten Mal direkt von LIEBE sprechen… gerade mit Blick darauf das die mies behandelt wird und sie immer u überall Panik bekommt… (das war wirklich anstrengende).
Zwischen durch gibt es Andeutungen auf das übernatürliche ohne konkrete Angaben. Beim querlesen durch die restlichen Bücher konnte ich das dann bestätigen.
Zum Abschluss muss ich sagen empfanden ich das Buch als sehr anstrengend. Das liegt aber daran das ich sehr willensstark bin u mir manches halt einfach nicht gefallen lasse. Wenn man dann mit einer rückgratlosen Hauptprotagonistin konfrontiert wird, ärgert man sich mehr über das Buch als wir man es genießen kann.
