Story had great potential
The story had great potential, it got a little bit annoying because a lot of the dialogues we’re not happening through talking to each other, but through the main character thoughts.

Great… heartwarming and loving
This is officially one of my most favorite Tijan books. The dynamic between Dusty and Stone is awesome. I loved their bickering. The time it took for them to grow together. It was genuine, realistic and heart felt. I could picture them perfectly and loved their story.
Being best friends for years I could relate to them not being shy around each other or holding back. Whether when being annoyed at one another or when they have sex.
From the start I understood his side. I understood his reasons for doing what he did before and his actions later.
The last couple of chapters were really hard for me. I was so aghast at what she did to him and I hurt in his stead.
By chapter 37, tears ran down my cheeks. This hasn’t happened often.
What you get for those tears? By the end you get closure. And that’s perfect.
This book is more than worth the time it takes to read it.
