Fascinating Fantasy Novel
Unfortunately this audiobook is narrated by its author. Based on my own (admittedly restricted) experience I think it’s rarely a good idea for an author to read his / her own book. This one here is another example on why it’s better to have professional actors/ actresses narrate a book. I disliked the author’s voice and especially his style of narrating (too fast and at the same time very dull and kind of monotonous) so much that I couldn’t bring myself to listen more than just the first chapter and therefore decided to return it. I’m going to read the ebook version instead
